F.A.Q.

Is the Ceremony open for all?

No. Please understand the Ceremony portion is a Private Event at our family friend's house. We'd love for everyone to be there, but we simply can't fit you all in Ron & Marie's home. This portion of the day is all ages.

Where is the Ceremony?

The Ceremony address is 7404 Andasol St, San Diego, CA 92126

What Time is the Ceremony?

2pm - 5pm. The ceremony itself will start at 3pm

Will there be food at the ceremony?

Yes, small plates, beverages, and a signature cocktail will be served at the ceremony. Vegan and non-alcoholic options will be available.

WHAT IS THE ATTIRE FOR THE CEREMONY?

Dress as fancy as you like to either event. Cocktail attire recommended, but not required. Coat and tie optional. The ceremony will be outdoors, so check the weather.

CEREMONY PARKING?

It's a street parking situation in a residential neighborhood. We recommend carpooling if possible.

Is the reception open for all?

Yes! If you received an invite, we'd love for you to join us at our reception at Soda Bar! Please let us know if you're bringing a guest, just so we have an idea how many are attending. Soda Bar is 21+, so please leave your little ones at home.

Where is the Reception?

The Reception is at Soda Bar. Located at 3615 El Cajon Blvd, San Diego, CA 92104

What time is the Reception?

The Reception goes from 7pm til 11pm

WILL THERE BE FOOD AND BEVERAGES AT THE RECEPTION?

It will be an open bar, plan accordingly. Food is TBD. We recommend you grab a bite to eat before to be safe. Please check back for more updates closer to the event.

What is the Attire for the Reception?

Dress as fancy as you like. Or wear your favorite leather jacket. We're just happy you're attending.

RECEPTION PARKING?

Please do not park in the alley behind the venue. We recommend you find street parking along El Cajon BLVD. Another nearby parking place is at the Pep Boys/ US Bank parking lot across the street. There is a tow risk, but we've never seen anyone get towed from there in the years we've been working at Soda Bar. OR party safe and take an Uber/Lyft/Taxi.

WHY THE INTERMISSION?

Sometimes you need a few moments to recharge those social batteries. Also to give folks (and ourselves) a bit of time to get to the other venue, change, grab a bite to eat, touch grass, etc.

HOTELS?

If you're traveling in from out of town, try and stay in the North Park area if possible, it's the most central to where things are happening. Depending on your budget there is the Lafayette or the Berkshire in the immediate vicinity. There are also a number of hotels in the Mission Valley area (like the Handlery) that can accommodate any budget. Otherwise, use your best judgement on Airbnb or the travel site of your preference.

WILL YOUR CATS BE THERE?

Grandma's appearance fee is too high

IS THERE AN AFTERS?
